Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing production team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive working environment with opportunities available on both day and night shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes, producing high-quality components, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes
  • Producing components to required quality standards
  • Reading and following technical drawings and job instructions
  • Checking completed work using measuring equipment
  • Identifying and resolving basic machining or production issues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Working to production schedules and deadlines
  • Supporting continuous improvement within the workshop
  • Working closely with supervisors and production teams

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a CNC Turning role
  • Ability to programme and set CNC lathes independently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
