Workshop Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Trailer Workshop Supervisor on behalf of a prominent national commercial vehicle services company based in Nuneaton. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role within a busy and dynamic workshop environment.

Duties as a Trailer Workshop Supervisor:

• Oversee trailer repairs, servicing, and inspections, ensuring work is completed to high standards efficiently
• Plan and prioritise workload to meet customer deadlines and optimise workflow
• Maintain health and safety standards within the workshop, ensuring a safe working environment
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and process relevant documentation promptly
• Identify cost-effective repair methods and optimise warranty claim opportunities
• Manage workshop stock levels, assist with holiday cover, and coordinate overtime as needed
• Support and develop technicians through training, sharing knowledge to build a cohesive team
• Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company professionally, and identifying additional business opportunities

Requirements for the Trailer Workshop Supervisor position:

• Qualified trailer technician with City & Guilds Level 1, 2, 3, or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience in trailer servicing and repair
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude
• Basic computer skills; training provided
• Supervisory experience is desirable but not essential; leadership by example is key
